01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Located conveniently at 325 S Centre St in Cumberland, MD, Wendy’s is a go-to destination for fast and flavorful dining, specializing in classic American fast food with a focus on quality hamburgers. This beloved fast food restaurant has mastered the art of serving quick, satisfying meals that cater to both familiar cravings and adventurous palates alike.

Wendy’s menu entices with a delicious variety of offerings, starting strong with their breakfast combos such as the Maple Bacon Chicken Croissant Combo. Imagine juicy, white meat chicken with a light breading kissed by seasoning, combined with crisp Applewood smoked bacon and a sweet touch of maple butter—all nestled inside a flaky croissant bun. It’s a breakfast item that perfectly balances sweet and savory, awakening your taste buds with each bite. Another morning favorite is the Sausage, Egg & Swiss Croissant Combo, which layers a freshly cracked grade A egg, savory grilled sausage, and creamy Swiss cheese sauce on that same buttery croissant bun. The complexity of flavors here makes even a simple sandwich feel indulgent.

What would a visit to Wendy’s be without their iconic dessert? Their Frosty® stands as a testament to their menu excellence. Whether you lean towards the timeless Vanilla Frosty®—an irresistibly cool, thick, and creamy frozen treat—or the Classic Chocolate Frosty®, born from founder Dave Thomas’s vision for the perfect signature dessert, these sweet masterpieces offer a delightful finish to your meal that’s hard to beat.

Additionally, Wendy’s partnerships bring unique bakery options like the Cinnabon® PullApart, warm and ooey-gooey dough bites swirled with signature Cinnabon cinnamon and topped with luscious cream cheese frosting. For those seeking a wholesome start, the Fresh Baked Oatmeal Bar, crafted with whole oats and sweet blueberries, is a comforting choice that doesn’t compromise on taste.

The dining atmosphere at this Cumberland location is a breath of fresh air in the fast food world. Customers frequently praise the friendly and attentive staff, with special shoutouts to team members like Heather and the manager whose proactive, courteous service greatly enhances the dining experience. One visitor was delighted by how the manager was personally checking with customers to streamline orders, resulting in hot, fresh fare and minimal wait times—even late on a Tuesday night close to closing hours.

Whether you’re stopping by on a long road trip, grabbing a quick lunch, or enjoying a casual family meal, Wendy’s at Cumberland serves up a consistent experience marked by friendly service, fresh ingredients, and satisfying flavors that reignite the love for classic fast food. Their famous fries continue to win fans, crunchy and perfectly seasoned, standing apart from competitors.

In short, Wendy’s here isn’t just another stop on your route—it’s a place where quality meets convenience, and every meal feels thoughtfully crafted to make you smile. If you find yourself craving a burger that tastes freshly made from scratch or a Frosty® that cools and delights in equal measure, this Wendy’s is well worth your visit.

It's been a while since we visited this Wendy's. We were interested in learning about their family chili and party chicken nuggets (50)! And we ordered their 2 Bacon Jr. Cheeseburger meals for $8 each. First, the cashier was the best. Very friendly, answered our questions. Gave suggestions. Loved her. The food was good. I forgot how much I like Wendy's fries compared to everyone else's. Very happy with the experience!

I stopped eating at Wendy's about 2 years ago (it was my favorite 20 years ago when they had the old patties). I visited this store on a Tuesday night right before closing. The burger was shockingly delicious and fresh, was clearly made to order (not reheated to order like the stores in PG County), staff was surprisingly courteous (especially for 11:50pm) and the entire experience was literally THE BEST I've had at any Wendy's for the past 10 years. Great job team! Keep up the great work! (side note: the new fries are horrible. Please change back to the old fries!!)

This was a quick stop for us on a long road trip. The parking was plentiful and just off the highway. The restaurant was clean and my order was taken quickly. The food all came out great and the frostys were a must. Great quick and low prices.

Great service. The young lady (I'm assuming was the manager) working the "turn" was spot on. She was asking people in line which kind of sandwiches they wanted even before they got to the register. She made things move very smoothly. My order was correct, hot and fresh. One of the best experiences I have ever had at a Wendy's.

Employees were very nice and friendly while we visited. Food was on point as well. Credit card machine wasn’t working at the time we were there but had enough cash on hand to cover the cost.
